Just a Few Things

• School starts soon...as in on Monday...aka in 5 days.
• Textbooks are ridiculously expensive. I spent $850 this semester on them. I would rent them but I'm in all my major classes so I want to keep my books in case they're helpful for when I get a real life job.
• I have two babies coming into my life: Olive (Paul and Sarah aka my boyfriends brother and sister in-law) and Baby Poole (Amy and Jeff aka my bestie best and her husband). I am so excited to meet both of them! Olive could literally be born any day now and Baby Poole will be here shortly after Christmas. I love babies and I love that two of my favorite couple are having them!
• Speaking of Sarah, she posted this link on my Facebook. I've been trying to figure out ways to get one of those puppies ever since. Luckily my mom said she would call tomorrow and consider making it an early birthday present since they are so cheap.I would be so happy!
• If I don't get a puppy I think Amy has convinced me that a bunny would be the next best thing. They are just so cute!
• The past month has been really great. I'm feeling a lot better about life and the people in mine. Positive thoughts all around!
• I'm trying to become more organized. I envy beautifully put together spaces and people who have a knack for organizing (Kirsten Renz I'm thinking of you!) I'm starting out in my closet(s) and working my way to other areas.
• My rainbow hair already faded out for the most part. I'm really disappointed about it. I think next I'm going to do strawberry blonde with teal underneath and then I'll go into my normal fall red. I was really happy with how my rainbow hair turned out, I just wish it would have lasted!
• Joseph's birthday is on Saturday and I'm still trying to think of something to get him. I really outdid myself last year. I got him concert tickets, a video game, went putt-putting, played in an arcade, baked him a cake that had both cake AND cookie in it, took him out to dinner, and went to see a movie. Unfortunately my current lack of funds won't allow me to do all of that again but I am planning on making his day great!
• Speaking of that, Friday I will be making an ice cream cake per his request. It will be my first so hopefully with Amy's help it comes out great!
• I should really not do this at 1am. I am tired and rambling and not saying much of importance.
